School boy photography error

Apologies for long post

So when I drive DD to school I pass a country park, and all last week it was frosty, misty and gorgeous sunrises. But come weekend when I had time for photography it was drab and wet. So to console myself I did a bit of editing on laptop Sunday night.

Skip to today and I’m on a rest day at work. Took DD to school and threw camera bag in car just in case. Stopped at park on way back, fog, frost sun breaking through, gorgeous conditions.

Within minutes I’d spotted a great composition with a clump of trees. Took the picture, looked at the screen and instead of the great picture i saw this displayed ‘NO MEMORY CARD IN CAMERA’. It was still in my laptop. Feeling sheepish I made my way home. Try again Sunday. 😂😂

At least you have a second chance! Unlike when a certain someone discovered no film in his camera after returning from Cape Canaveral. I swear some of the best photos of my children were (not) taken in that rocket garden!
