DAS online registration

Thought I'd post my experience of registering for DAS.

I've just registered DS for a DAS pass using the online registration. Had to use a VPN (tunnelbear as its free) logged on at 12:00 as it opened got a message saying they are extremely busy may take 2 hours 5 minutes later I was on a video call got DAS set up had to get DS to come and have his photo taken. Took 15 mins total
Then got transferred to text chat to set up prebooked rides I wasn't too bothered about this but did the first 3 days this bit took half an hour.
So start to finish 45 mins.
Deffinately worth it so we don't have to que at guest services on our first morning.

Logged on yesterday for our February trip, kept refreshing the page and at 12.00 got the dreaded “Access Denied” message. Tried again late afternoon and had a similar timeframe to fluffy chicken so very pleased to get it sorted ahead of our visit.

Can you both confirm - was it at 30 days before your last day of your trip you sorted it? Trying to check timing for May visit

Yeah, officially it's 30 days before the last day you need to book rides for.

Do they ask you if you are from the U.K. or anything or do they assume you are already in the us due to the vpn?

It came up in my chat with the CM but it wasn't part of the actual assessment, she didn't mind either way. Although there were a couple people here who didn't get through the first chat screening since they weren't in the US. Hopefully that was just teething issues as it was shortly after it launched and haven't heard reports of that since.

We are off in June/July. It’s been so long since we went. Could someone direct me to a link/info on this as I can’t find it by searching - probably using the wrongs words.
