Which airline?

Trying to decide which airline to go with for 2023. Which one do you prefer and why? Also what do the different airlines offer in terms of luggage allowance and seat pitch? We did BA last year with no complaints except the food was pretty rubbish and our flight back the kids couldn't get comfy of the seats to sleep.

Virgin, because we like to go direct from Manchester and usually have some miles to chip in to an upgrade.

I went with TUI in 2018, PE, and loved it.
Did PE with virgin in 2019 and loved it.

Doing PE to miami in a couple of weeks but on the a380 so will let you know.

I've booked based on price except for my next trip as doing it as a holiday to get double tier points

I selected Virgin, but only because I’ve got a good price flydrive from them for August.
But normally preferred airline is whoever gives the best price.

Not flown Tui, IFE and food better than BA imo, seats about the same. Flying BA on our next trip though because the cancellation policy was great and they were considerably cheaper.
Did a Virgin flight though Virgin holidays in 2019 and got V Lounge included which was great.

Depends on plane the Tui premium is best because it's the Dreamliner, our BA flight out was better than Virgin our plane back was worse.

We usually fly Virgin but we are flying BA next time because of how Virgin handled covid refunds and it was cheapest too.

Whichever is cheapest although I wouldn't book Tui now as they don't allow extra luggage

BA has the best luggage policy. Economy is 1x23kg. PE is 2x23kg and business/first is 2 or 3 x32kg. depending on route. All can have a 23kg cabin bag as well. Much much better than the other 2.
