Pancake Day, what's your favourite?
I'm more of a lemon and sugar traditional pancake person, eating it after dinner. If pushing out the boat, then banana, blueberries and ice cream.
What are you having? |

I love American style pancakes with crispy bacon maple syrup and caramelised banana (a local cafe does it and it sounds disgusting but its sooooo good!) in NYC we used to have them with bacon, fried eggs and syrup again, weird but good!

Plain old lemon and sugar and traditional thin crepe type pancakes. Dave likes syrup, preferably maple but golden will do.

I’m a fan of the simple lemon and sugar, or the breakfast version of fluffy pancakes with crispy bacon and Syrup.
Today we are having fromage et Jambon crepes followed by our choice of sweet pancake, so likely a mixture of lemon and sugar, Nutella and banana and crepe Suzette, because we seem to have a lot of oranges left in the fruit bowl this week. I love pancake day. |

I like to have 1 with just lemon and sugar, then another with golden syrup added.
Oh, and it has to be a thin traditional pancake (made by one of my boys every year, it’s now his tradition to make them for everyone). Edited at 08:42 AM. |

I like either American style pancakes covered with white chocolate and maple syrup.
Or the crepe style pancake with loads of cookies and cream spread in the centre and then rolled up. |

I love pancakes! My preferred option is a thin style crepe with Nutella and then one with lemon & sugar too 😆

Everything in the specially set up Morrison's pancake section was golden syrup based. No maple syrup to be found until you went to the usual jam shelf. I've always though maple was the more traditional topping. It's what I'll be having anyway!
