Cooking two leg of lambs, help

I have two lamb joints to cook tomorrow, I usually bung one in for two and half hours then uncover for the last half a hour so three hours in total. If I’m cooking two is it the same time or longer? I’m cooking roast for nine gawd help me!

Should be the same time but I'd probably swap them over halfway through to even out any temperature spots in the oven.

If you are cooking them in separate trays and your oven has a good even temperature then it would be the same amount of time. Swop them over on the shelves at about half time.

If you are cooking them in the same tray together so they form a bigger block you will need to allow extra time.

I quite often cook a leg of lamb and another piece of meat in the same oven, for those who don't like lamb, don't cook them any longer than normal

Have a great meal!

Did you have to get a second mortgage?

I was going to suggest the 5 hour lamb as well. Perfect if you’re cooking more than one. Makes me want a lamb roast now! Enjoy x
