Roman Originals - Returns
I ordered 4 dresses for my holiday but 2 didn’t fit quite right so I returned them. This was 2 weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing - not even an acknowledgment. Looking online it seems the company are terrible at refunding and customers are still waiting for refunds more than a month later.
They apparently don’t answer the phone or respond to Twitter enquiries. I’m not sure what to do … do I wait it out? Anybody else have issues with this company? |

Wow I'm surprised. I've never had any [problems with Romans and use them every year for holiday dresses and clothes. Never had any problems with refunds. I'd hold out another day or two and then maybe try calling this number 0121 636 0701. Not sure if that the one you've got.
Have you tried messaging on Facebook? I usually find that social site better for responses with companies.

I returned mine to a local store as a better choice for us the only issue is you only get a voucher not back onto your card but I was happy with that

I returned 2 dresses last weekend and they haven't acknowledged the return yet. I sent stuff back to Shien, Nike & Sainsburys at the same time and all have been refunded. They do seem to take a bit longer don't they!

I’ve had loads from them and returned them ok.
I also order their clothes from Next who are very good with returns. Not helpful at the moment I realise but maybe helpful in the future. |

I have ordered and returned a lot recently and not had any issues with Roman, Scarlett and Jo, Coast, Debenhams - am waiting for Ro and Zo at the moment … they are being slow.

I had an email today confirming my refund for items I returned on 24th May. So I think they are experiencing delays.

I had a similar experience returned two dresses total £100, no acknowledgement finally got an e mail saying my refund would be 21 days, I emailed them again saying this was not very good as it states on their website that refunds will be 3/5 days, and I said that 21 days for a refunds was not really acceptable. They e mailed me back and said that the Freud would be 21 days! I won’t ever my online with them again as I think 21 days after waiting 2 weeks for acknowledgment of a return is ridiculous. I don’t expect them to wait 21 days before I pay for the goods. It’s put me totally off them as a company. Whilst I understand times are strange at the moment their was the only company that has taken this long with a return and refund.
