You’d have to imagine a resolution will be reached though given the massive reputational damage this could cause BA at a time when they can least afford it.

It’s looking more and more like the 1970s 🙁

I think that’s a massive generalisation. The last time was in 2010 I believe. They won’t be the only ones, the whole industry is underpaid and overworked.

Should worse case scenario arise and a traveller be booked on a strike day what happens? Do they use their code share partners?

I simply don't think there is any slack in the system for taking up the strike flights

Only if there is seat availability - in the summer months there is no way a whole flight to say MCO could be accommodated by another carrier; I guess they may find it easier to just refund. However, I think most chaos will be due to Checkin and baggage which is likely to cause nause to all travellers rather than a specific flight (and preventive flight are cancelled then they probably will choose ones that that they fly to several times a day (esc New York and LA which are very £ lucrative) leg to Europe (Madrid, Paris, etc)

Hopefully BA pay the staff the 10% back they are owed and some more and the strikes are called off.

I'm still not sure what happens to the Gatwick flights, a couple of years ago the BA fleets were combined to one fleet so Gatwick has the same crew as Heathrow now I believe or is this just the ground staff result and the cabin crew result will come later
