Virgin would have to split the booking into two and then change the two passengers to PE. You cant have a single booking with 2 different booking classes. This could be problematic in the event of disruption but it is possible if availability is there but what would happen if more seats didn't come up.

Then I would leave them in economy 😂 ( ps.. they are adults)

I see what you mean about separate bookings, I feared that would be the case 😭 I will have to wait and hope for 4 then. Thanks for your help

My booking this year are on two separate ones, with myself and husband on one and two kids on the other. All in the same class but I think there was so much faffing with Covid changes etc it was the only way they could do the booking. I have been assured that it will not cause any issues and they are linked on their system just not for me to see, I hope so anyway! If they are all adults I would be inclined to book the two PE and keep an eye out for the others!

Quick qu for you knowledgeable VA people. There are now reward flights for our journey home which would save us a small fortune as we paid cash initially. Can I adjust this with VA? Its currently booked as a return, would VA have to cancel the whole flight and rebook it? Will they even entertain that?

I don’t think you can cancel & rebook a cash booking. However you could use your points to upgrade with points if you are in economy and want to upgrade to premium. If you are already in premium cash seats then I don’t think there is anything you can do.

Although I managed to book 4 economy reward flights for April/ May 23 ( first time using reward points. Anyway really wanted premium but not to be ( need 4 which is probably a big ask). Just wondering do they just randomly add more at any time? Is there a normal amount of time or criteria they use to add more? Using Seatspy and checking virgin site several times a day 😬

It changes all the time.

This time last week I was a PE to nab 3 PE flights to MCO to fly Wednesday gone (ie just three days before flying). There had been no availability for a long time before that.

Other days had new PE and Upper availability too.

Fingers crossed then. I will probably have 4 reward vouchers by the end of the year ( have 2 atm). Would be handy to use them, however, ready to pounce at anytime 😂

I have spoken to virgin this morning and apparently I have 2 reward vouchers in my account. My virgin CC anniversary date is April.
Now, I received 1 reward into my account in Jan as spent the required amount however where has the other one come from? I have not spent enough yet in this Anniversary year, unless the spend threshold carry’s on and it’s just that you can’t get the reward until you go into the next year ( if that makes sense)?

Also the 2nd reward does not show up in my account Not that I’m complaining :d a nice surprise just confused!

Anyone ?

Also another question regarding reward vouchers, if I have enough before we fly we may use them for the virgin lounge at Heathrow. Does anyone know how this works do you book when you ring up or do they send you a voucher ( post or email ?) and then book with that?
