Fine dining in Disney?

Evening all,

Am looking for somewhere really nice my husband and I can go for a meal while over in October.

I have looked at Victoria and Albert before but the prices are wild so will probably not go for that.

I had fancied the California grill brunch but they aren't doing that right now.

We have been to Jiko twice and we love it there but since they have opened the menu has changed and I don't fancy it so much.

Anyone have any good recommendations? We are staying off site but we will uber it from the villa and have a few drinks. Can be a disney hotel restaurant or off site. I don't eat meat but eat fish. 🙃

Thanks all.

If you want fine dining other than V&A imho, avoid Disney.

Not sure I would class very many as "fine dining" in Orlando tbh but a few offsite places that are high end are:

Fish: Ocean Prime, Hemingways, Blue Zoo.

Steak - Ruth Chris, Capitol Grill, Vitos Chop House, Flemings

Italian - Christinis, Primo, Ravello

General - Chathams Place - probably the only real "fine dining" place. Knife & Spoon. Roys.

Worth a look: Seasons 52, Coopers Hawk Winery (good food but not fine dining)

Bull and bear but that’s not Disney.
Very nice place.
We have Topolino’s booked for a nice dinner as didn’t fancy the set menu at CG.

My suggestion would be Bull & Bear.
It’s kind of Disney (close enough?) and the food and service are excellent

* I tend to opt for fish. There were plenty of options for me

Flying Fish on the Boardwalk is good. More upmarket for evening meal than most others on site.

For my husband's 40th we are doing Bull and Bear at the Waldorf. I haven't been to any of them yet as we were on the dining plan last time but I think the Swan and Dolphin restaurants look amazing. Our favourite signatures at Disney were V&A and Jiko which aren't on your list, but we also enjoyed Narcoosees (they have Lobster on the menu). Cali Grill was our least favourite for evening meal but we loved the brunch

Thanks everyone, some places I haven't heard of.

I will spend this morning looking at menus! 🤣

Although we've not been, I'd echo the Bull & Bear has always looked like a nice "special occasion" restaurant to visit.

The WDW Couple have done at least one review of it in the past. There's one here, so you can get an idea:
