Want to have nice nails for our cruise
I am having difficulty deciding which nail/beauty salon to go to. Most websites give no indication of prices for the application and then the removal which usually helps me decide. What can I expect to pay?

I think it depends where you live. I am south east and it £11 removal and £35 for file and polish. £40-45 is average where I am.

I pay £22 for builder gel with gel polish. It costs £5 to have the full set removed, but I only have this done occasionally and have a new set reapplied immediately.

Considering businesses use the internet these days I have been surprised at how many nail salons, etc don’t state what services they provide or the price. They vary such a lot.
I’ve been looking for a local salon as the one I have been using has problems with parking outside. They charged £17 for gel polish which is quite good and £10 for removal. I normally remove them myself to cut down on the overall cost. £25 seems to be the average around here for gel polish. |

I book my treatments using the Fresha app and all salons seem to have their prices listed on there - try that. I pay £30 for builder gel with a colour over and nail art.
I'll pay more for a salon using The Gel Bottle products as they are much better colours and longevity for me than other brands so I also like when they list what they use. |

£20-35 for gel (base price no nail art etc). Often if you can find someone working from a home business its cheaper than going into a salon.

We're in Bolton and my DW apparently pays £25 for gel on and off with a file and shape, or £30 if its a manicure with gel on and off. She said her salon charges extra for builder (? ) but she hasnt had it so not sure how much.
