I’m always like this- shall we-shall we not! For us it’s a bit of a now or never with things at the moment so likely to book it soon on deposits as prices are OK, worst scenario we lose deposits! Our main sticking point is insurance and I cannot even look at that until October time. It will be the last year probably with school clamping down again on term time holidays, DD and DH health.

Pros and cons wellllll - the only con is the cost, everything else is a pro!
Its just the commitment really, you're saying I'm about to book something that we've saved hard for years for, and it'll all be gone in 2wks! I know it'll be worth it, definitely. But it's still a yes no thing! Glad its not just me! |

I am maybe a pessimist/realist and if you have really saved for years and are not exaggerating I think I would wait another year until travel shakes out a bit.
For people who travel every year, some more than once, then a messed up holiday is really neither here nor there they will simply go again but for someone who has been saving for years its very different. Just my thoughts |

if you have saved and planned to go then go. yes it is an expensive holiday but thats what planning and budgeting is all about.
you could go but just do disney or go and just do universal and seaworld, food - buy breakfast cereals and milk have have breakfast in your room before you go out. eat out one evening and get mcdonalds the following.(not great but its a way and means) share meals for lunch. get water bottles and buy juice squeezes and drop a few drops to make squash in your water bottle instead of for ever paying for drinks in parks. stay on disney dont hire a car and use the buses - all day dining if your booking for next year uber to supermarkets etc with prices constantly going up, its not going to get better - be nice if it did though lol

We are lucky enough to have been a few times before now, before kids and with kids and each time has been different and such a good time.
This time will be the first time we arent doing disney, we can't justify their prices, even just with tickets and staying somewhere else - will I miss it? Maybe a little. Will I love the holiday regardless, absolutely! |

If you have planned and budgeted for it in my view go and enjoy it. It’s been a rough few years and future is equally unpredictable at moment, and in my opinion there could always be a reason to stop you and therefore take the opportunity.
