Hate it here. Our flat is a sauna; we have no garden and because we are two floors up with a lively cat, we can’t open windows. Forecast is 30 on Saturday and I am dreading it. Roll on winter.

Hopeful we may see 66 by Thur/Fri, but our weather rarely takes the path of the norm. Last year, whilst you struggled in cracking heat waves, we had a superb summer, not too hot, just perfect... aye MrT, exactly why we clear off for the winter. I dread when we can't travel anymore, it'll be misery for our bones in our cold, damp winters.

3am here in Slough and according to my weather App we are at 100% humidity - it's been very muggy all day. Due to be 27 on Saturday, and I'm moving so looking forward to lugging boxes around in that!

DH has put the winter weight duvet back on the bed at home had the heating on and our big brave working gun dog refusing to even go out for a pee but put his lead on rateing to go
