Carnival Cruise from Dover

We've been on a couple of Carnival cruises from Miami and really had a great time! We saw a great itinerary for a cruise for summer 2021 which starts in Dover and goes around a few places in Europe and ends up in St. Petersburg. We booked it as my husband has always wanted to go and I felt safer booking a cruise with a company I've been on before. We also got a great price as was an early bird deal.

Just wondered if anyone had cruised with Carnival from Dover after cruising with them from the US and if you found any differences?

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder what on earth it's going to be like!

It'll be an experience anyway, and then I can report back to The Dibb!

Have you tried cruisecritics. It’s another forum for cruises.

I’ve cruised twice with them in the Med, food is more or less the same as in the Caribbean. Except we had British bacon as well as the horrible US stuff

I don’t think people have answered your question because you put has anyone cruised from Dover with them. i May be wrong but I don’t think Carnival have sailed out of Dover before.

Ahh okay, that makes sense, thank you. We are still relatively new to cruising. This will be our third cruise (all with Carnival). Really interested to see/hear what the European Carnival experience is like

hi,
we have cruised twice with Carnival in Europe in 2016 and 2018 and loved both of them. They were on the Vista and the Horizon so both big and new ! No negatives at all, only positives.

We are now booked on Carnival from Long beach next year on the Panorama.

If there is anything specific I may be able to help you with let me know,

Great to hear, thank you. We were wondering what the nationalities were like in terms of guests - we've only cruised from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale where we were pretty much the only Brits on board!

It makes no difference but just curious
