Fantastic, thank you for all the suggestions. Will start an off-site dining list and start looking at all of these.

Is there anywhere you’d recommend waiting to eat without the DDP? e.g. anywhere not covered by the DDP / anywhere that’s not the best value on the DDP?

We won’t have a car, so we’d prefer to stay around the hotels / parks, but could always figure out how to use an Uber to go elsewhere if it would be worth it. Will also be looking for places to eat while at Universal, as I think we’ve decided against a club level room there.
Never used DDP easy to get to other places we always use the linx buses catch the 56 for 192 loads of places down there same as a car never needed one

That’s really handy to know, thanks. I assume the bus would work out cheaper than an Uber (for four of us)? Where do you catch it? And is it easy enough to recognise where to get off on your first trip?

We don’t have a dining plan for our next stay and as we won’t have a car, going offsite isn’t appealing to us. We have club level though, but will mainly just use that for breakfast. Otherwise we will probably eat as we normally do, although will rule out buffets / character meals and BOG breakfast, all of which we usually do a few times. Places that we will go to that are not in the plan are a couple of places at the Swan & Dolphin including Bluezoo Lounge, also the Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom.

Can I also add in the Sci-Fi diner to the mix as well. Would not use a TS credit on the Dining Plan but paying OOP it was a memorable meal.

Off site - Millers is a fab place and we have found it to be consistently good in the three different locations we have been too.

We do enjoy Ihop at a variety of times of the day, always something to pick from the menu and plenty of them around.

As for Uber - it is really easy - even I managed to use it
Just ensure you are in a wifi zone when you need one
