Stand alone hot tub charge

Hi all, we have booked for 18 nights Aug/Sept and the agent for the villa has quoted us $250 to have the hot tub heated. It seems an awful lot of money to me, we went in February and we paid 30 a week.

I sort of get the feeling they are trying to have us over, not a good when you have just booked.

How much does it cost to run a hot tub for a week? It looks like a six person stand alone one, not a spa attached to a pool.

Thanks in advance.

I wonder if the pool and hot tub are on one system ... or if they've misunderstood and are quoting for both .
I'd try asking themwhat the charge is for pool heating.
I'd also look at reviews and see if anyone mentions it

I don't charge any extra for the use of my stand alone hot tub, the rental price includes it.
