Bunk Beds at Cheyenne
Hi can anyone who's stayed at the Cheyenne advise as to the size of the bunk beds - could adults sleep in them comfortably?
Also roughly how long would it take to walk to the park entrance? Thanks |

Hiya, there's a weight limit for the top bunk so an adult can't sleep on it, but they could sleep on the bottom bunk if they're not too tall, my daughter is around 5ft 2in and says she had enough room, but not much extra. There is a wooden plank along the bottom of the bed so you wouldn't be able to dangle your feet out the end, I have pictures on my profile if you want to have a look.
In terms of walking, it normally takes us about 15mins with my 5yr old in the buggy...and he's quite heavy so that's not a particularly fast pace and that's from the middle of the hotel complex, there are rooms further away from the park so obviously that would take a little longer.

Thanks those pics are great - id prob be ok on the bottom bunk but no one in the group would manage the top one!
We may need to look at offsite as need a room for 3 adults, we won't be driving & none of us want to share a bed lol I believe some of the offsite hotels are only 20 mins walk anyway & we could invest in annual passes |

Glad I could help
If you give DLP a call you could ask them about the family rooms at Santa Fe, I know they sleep 5 but don't know what the bed configuration is, you have to ring as those rooms don't come up on the website, Newport Bay also has family rooms but obviously they'll be pricier
