CBR was our first resort at wdw, we had a pirate room that year and I loved it, so did the kids we went back again in 2016 and were in Jamaica which was perfect for the buses, first on and first off, and it was pre construction so no noise or anything.

Anyway, we are going back to CBR next summer after staying offsite on I drive, then OKW, and last summer at POFQ.

I've booked a standard room, but it is one of the rooms with the fifth bed. Do any of you know where these rooms are? Or are they dotted all around the resort? I'd love to be in Jamaica again as the walk over the bridge to centertown was great.

Hi, yes, the 5th bed rooms are dotted around the resort, but not in Trinidad.
If you put your request in with Disney or whoever you booked with you’ll have a good chance of getting Jamaica. (MDE isn’t working for CBR for some reason) Aruba is quite a good location now too, especially as it’s close to Riviera Skyliner and block 51 right next to Jamaica and the bridge over Caribbean Cay.

I thought I saw small packs of disani water in Calypso trading post shop st CBR or maybe it was the shop at Riviera.
The Riviera shop has got a better selection of drinks & food as it’s a DVC resort.
They did use to have tiny cartons of soy milk at CBR, they were about $2.60 from the food court, I but I’ve never seen any multi packs.

The freestyle machine in 43 is quite close to the pool, so convenient.
There’s also a soda dispenser - but not free style right outside the main pool, right outside Banana Cabana - so you don’t have to go into the main building at all for drinks now 😃
Last I heard Banana Cabana is still not taking ddp.

Brilliant, thanks for this! It drove me nuts having to go into the food court at FQ to get a drink the last few trips, especially in wet pool stuff with freezing air con! So will make life much easier, especially with my mum & dad with us too. I did notice that MDE isn't working for CBR requests, is it best to email the address on the first page? Lots of really helpful information on there, I'm so excited to go back!

Just noticed that we will be there are the same time... I think that request are done within 60 days of going (think I have read that somewhere.might be wrong).

Ah yes I think we are! We arrive on 14th Aug, only at CBR for 5 nights, then onto a villa and 2 nights at the beach at the end! I can request a corner room at CBR but that's it, will check back on 60 days, seems so far away though!

Hi I’m just wondering if anyone has walked from Barbados or Trinidad to the skyliner station? The pathway on the bridge looks tiny and right next to the road, are you better off taking the internal bus to avoid the footpath over the bridge? Thanks

I was in Trinidad, it was just before the Skyliner opened so I didn’t walk there but I walked up to Old Port Royal and it didn’t look like it would be a difficult walk to the Skyliner at all.
