how busy will it be from 7th 11th dec

hi i booked to go Disneyland Paris from 7th-11th December and just found out its Spanish holidays on Mon 7th and Tues 8th, people have told me it will be mad busy but will be quiet towards end of week when Spanish holidays finish but to expect queues to be 45-60 mins if not longer when Spanish are there, I didn't realise it was Spanish holidays when I booked it and now worried first two days is just going to be spent queueing and not much fun with two young kids, how long are the queue likely to be will it be that bad.
thanks

yes it could be pretty busy your first couple of days - but don't panic!
Use Fastpass well, EMH if you're staying onsite, and concentrate on the xmas shows and parades if its busy, then on your last 3 days you'll be able to enjoy the rides over and over again.

Thanks I have been told to do rides when parades are on first couple of days as rides will be quieter when parades are on then do parades later in week when Spanish holidays are over if this a good idea? Also Our friends are also looking at coming with us but haven't booked yet so there thinking of maybe going wed 9th - sun 13thDec so there here the same time as us but will miss Spanish holidays or would the sat 12th and sun 13th Dec be just as busy or even busier than that? They were also looking at going a week before or week after to totally miss the Spanish holidays but then we wouldn't be there all together, so they wondered do the Spanish holidays make that much of a difference as have been told they do by some people and someone even said only time they have saw it busier was boxing day but then others have said although your notice more Spanish arrive it wont be that bad.

Are you staying onsite?
We got quite a lot done in emh, and also the rides tend to quieten off around parade time

out of the 2 options - Spanish holidays on a Monday/Tuesday in December, or Saturday and Sunday in December, I'd pick the Monday/Tuesday with Spanish guests every time - weekends are busy enough at DLP, over xmas season its mental and the park does get to capacity on weekends in December.

i'd avoid the spanish holidays, but thats because i know about it in advance and i like going when the parks are deserted . Your friends will get that if they go the week before you, Monday to Friday.

Thanks Sammykitten I will let my friends know. we did all want to go together but guess it is up to them weather they think its worth it now they know about the Spanish holidays, would you say the park would be deserted when we will be there once the Spanish holidays are over so the Wed-Fri as I was thinking would the week before be that different in attendance levels overall as wouldn't the Spanish start to arrive on the Friday ready for the weekend giving you Mon-Thurs so 4days being less busy there the week before and wouldn't most of them start to leave by Tues afternoon giving you rest of Tues then wed-Fri so 3 and half days when we are there so only really half day difference or do you think this is just wishful thinking on my part.LOL

6th December to 8th December are the Spanish national holidays this year, so I'd expect your Monday and Tuesday to be busy (it doesn't take long to travel from France to Spain for Spanish guests going home from DLP).

Your Weds-Friday will be fine for crowd levels, similar to the week before all week.
