Taking 1 year old
Hi all,
We will be on holiday near DLP during our daughter's 1st birthday and planning on a day trip to DLP. I have read that cast members wont let under ones on many rides without a height requirement - do I need to take proof of my daughter's age to go on rides or will they trust us when we tell them she is one! Don't really want to take her passport if I can help it. Thanks so much

I've never been asked for proof of kids ages, infact I think I've only been asked their age once or twice in several trips with little ones! DS was 19 months on his first trip and DD2 was 21 months when we went this year. Both very small for their age though, 9-12 months clothes size wise and very late walkers so could easily be mistaken for younger than 1.
I guess that it's their job to make sure children are old enough but it still comes down to your responsibilty so they will take your word for it. Hope that helps! Have a fab trip!

We took our son at 10 months and lied and said he was 1. No one ever asked for ID and although he was walking he's always been small for his age. To be honest I think they're covering themselves cos they have asked. It was on our heads that we took him on but as we knew the rides we were prepared to do that. It's also only a French rule, in Florida the same rides don't have the 1yr age requirement.

Thankyou so much! This is a relief! We were planning on going to DLP a day or 2 before she actually turns one and was worried theyd be very strict! X
