Just maths today for my daughter. She messaged to say it was better, easier than she thought it was going to be.

I’ve just texted my two and got the usual ‘ok’ back from both. I then ask ‘good ok or bad ok?’ And got good from both, so that’s ok.😀 It’s like a little ritual game we play now!

Poor thing. Anxiety is awful, she has my sympathy. I hope she’s ok ☹️ X

Heard from ds and that was his best one yet. Maths is his best subject so I was quietly confident. But he needs a good grade to do it at A-level. But a great start for him 👍🏻👍🏻
He is currently revising Geography in the public library(they have to be off school property between exams) and then he’s getting a Subway 😋
Not overly confident with the Geography, I think he would be happy to get a 5 or 6 in that.

Same for ds said the maths was quite hard geography this afternoon told him to go and have a nice lunch and relax x

so maths didnt go so well for my son - the swear word reply was back! Ever since the 11 plus where he went to pieces on the maths test it has been a recurring theme and even his teachers say his ability is not matching the grades he gets. Every test he comes out and knows the right answers to some but has put the wrong one and this one was no different. He needs maths and English to get into sixth form too! hope everyone else's children did ok.

So sorry it didn’t go well. I hope he gets the grade he needs for 6th form. What do they require?

My ds has the same today, will message him soon, as geography was due to finish at 2.30. Fingers crossed for them x

Geography verdict is in. He think he did ok. Answered every question and a fair bit of what we have been revising over the past few days came up so that’s good. Considering it’s one of the ones he finds harder, I’m happy with his “pretty decent” comment. Fingers crossed for everyone else.
