The first of the RE/Ethics/Philosophy today - it’s the RE (Judaism) part today.

She’s been up since 6:30 going over her notes. Her file is enormous - I can’t imagine how she can possibly remember it all!

I hope the exam goes well for her and for Sammykitten’s DD. Good luck to all with exams today

Just spoken to DD - she was quite disappointed with the questions, all very similar to last year’s paper so they all thought it was unlikely that those topics would come up again this year.

She had revised them but not as much as some other areas. She said one of her essays was really good but the other too not good ☹️

She said she’s going to have to try and pick up marks now on the next two papers. I’m gutted for her as she’s worked so hard.

That’s a shame but you never know, she may have done better than she thinks. Georgia feels it’s good that there are different papers for subjects as you can feel one goes badly but then pick up marks on a different paper, so even if this one wasn’t good hopefully the others will be better xx

Oh what a shame. It’s just so difficult to revise absolutely everything. I feel for her. Hopefully it’s better than she thinks. 👍🏻

Dd had English language, all ok but the last question was 38 marks (a third of the paper) and was about ants invading a beehive. She had to compare texts but struggled as they were both fairly old so hopefully she done enough.
Sociology was easy, so still all fairly positive here.
Hope everyone else is hanging in there. Going to be a long wait for results.

Magic Mouse - that’s disappointing for your DD, let’s hope she has done better than what she thinks she has, it’s a bit demoralising when you have studied so hard like they are all doing.

Roxie - that’s good news, another2 exams done!

Ben has History tomorrow, he didn’t go in for his normal lessons but stayed at home and studied.
