I got two words - I failed ! Apparently him and all his friends thought it was hard . Am worrying about the English they did this week too - does anyone know if the story they had to write ( some of the choices were about a wedding or abandonment ) should have been written as if it was a true experience to them ?

DD has struggled with both history papers so far. I really don't understand it as she excels in English and knows the topics inside out. She just doesn't seem to be able to write in the style they are looking for. She is supposed to be getting a 7 but I will be happy if she passes at all.
Her verdict on today's Maths was "it wasn't actually bad! " which is about as positive as she has ever been about a Maths exam! Seven more to go and then we are done! |

My lad has said the mocks were a lot harder then the actual exams so far, he said chemistry paper 1 has been the hardest so far
