I've never had to pay it at Disney but usually offsite they charge it when you check in.

We’re only offsite for one night before moving to Sequoia lodge.

I’ll let you all know what happens because there is not long until my trip. 😬

We go in 32 days and I’ve not heard anything yet. The original local tax is clearly listed on my invoice.

We book via dlp and did not get asked when we arrived 2 weeks ago or when we paid the balance. We booked stop overs by booking.com (a year in advance)for a night before and after our stay and were charged tourist tax when we got there- it had more than doubled!
