Booking Air France flights via Virgin

Hi all

We are looking to go to DLP in June and i’d planned on using my virgin points to book reward seats on the Air France flight to Paris.

I went through the relevant steps online and got kicked out right at the end. Called the virgin call centre (spoke to a lovely customer service rep) who confirmed that there are no Air France reward seats available for any date and that it’s an error on the system that they are showing.

Has anyone actually managed to use their Virgin points to book with Air France? I am wondering whether it a glitch with the Virgin IT and whether to wait it out to see if some seats become available or just bite the bullet and book direct with AF.

Thanks in advance

I would advise against this you need to use a very large number of miles for a very short trip, I would pay for these flights and save your points for the US which is much better value.

Yes, we have used them. Not the best use of air miles but has worked well for us to Barcelona, Paris and again Paris later this year!

We booked business class seats. Had to phone up as same as you we were kicked out at the very end!
