A few years ago we flew to Paris and stayed in the city for a few days and spent a day at DLP, we then drove down to Clermont-Ferrand for a few days before driving down to Perpignan where we stayed for about a week. It was a great trip, we got the city and DLP and then the beach in Perpignan because we could visit Saint-Cyprien and Collioure for day trips.

This sounds great. Did you rent a car and fly back from a different airport?

We’re staying in a mix of Airbnbs and chambre d’hôtes as well as Davy Crockett’s for the Disney bit.
Sounds similar to our plans! Would love to see your itinerary if you have one as currently trying to work out how to fit everything in 🙈😂

Bear in mind it is likely to be hot in the interior of France. It was 32-33 degrees at DLP when we were there last summet

I loved planning this 😀 First night arrive CDG around 4pm and drive to Rouen for one night. Have a look around the centre next day then head to Bayeux for four nights in an Airbnb. From there we’ll visit the beaches etc. Then head back to Paris, stopping at Monet’s house and garden in Giverny on the way, and stay two nights at an Airbnb close to the RER and a 12-min train ride into Paris. We’ll have one full day there, which I hope is enough for my son, as the following two nights we’re at DLP. Our last night is at Stay City Hotel as we’ll be up and out for our early flight home next day.
I love this kind of holiday! I hope you enjoy yours too.

That sounds great - we are going the opposite way! So our plans are fly into CDG and get a transfer to DLP - staying offsite.
We’re going to head over to the village the evening we arrive for dinner and maybe visit the Marvel hotel. Then doing DLP our first two days, then train into Paris and back the next two days. Hoping to fit in the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Dior Museum plus a few other bits over the two days. Then getting a hire car and driving to our hotel in Bayeux. Visiting the beaches, Mont St Michel, and some of the museums - we’re here for 5 nights. Then back to Orly for our flight home ❤️

Your Paris day sounds exactly like ours, dictated by our nearly-teen 😀 He also wants to see all the designer shops 🙄

Our teen daughter had a lot of say in ours, but the 20 year old son is the one who voted for going up the Eiffel Tower!
