Planning a trip to DLP in November, on a budget unfortunately

I have stayed at both a hotel off site and Santa Fe - I would go for Santa Fe if your budget allows- more flexible time wise every day and convenient

I would imagine there is little in the difference when you add tickets to an offsite hotel if 4 people, sometimes harder if there is 5+. I would pick on site for experience and convenience.

Santa Fe is 15 minutes' walk (a nice walk along the river and through the Village).
You get Extra Magic Time which is invaluable - if you can get into the park for 8:30 then rides like Big Thunder and Peter Pan have 5-minute waits, saving you hours later.

Santa Fe! Definitely easier.

Santa Fe all day long. You’re onsite and can walk to the park and the best thing is you get early entry. You get so much done before the park opens to offsite guests.

Santa fe for me. Onsite so much more convenient.

We’ve done on and off site and more recently have used ibis as it was cheaper but when we went last November it was cheaper to stay at the Cheyenne and we loved being able to walk to the parks. So I’d go for whichever is cheapest but if there isn’t much in it on site is better I think.

If there isn’t much difference in the price I’d always choose a Disney hotel for convenience as well as EMH
