Booking meals on DLP app

I’ve been trying to book Downtown restaurant for November - it gives available times but when I go to book says oops there’s an error - I’ve also been trying to book breakfast at Plaza Gardens and that says you can only book 60 days before. Has anyone else had problems booking table service meals on the app?

I rang Disney this morning - they said Downtown isnt available to book at the moment and to keep checking. They also said that I could book plaza Gardens over the phone which I did and should show on my account shortly and could then link a card to pay a deposit. Nothing is showing yet and it’s been a few hours - anyone any idea how long it will take to show as a table booking?

I think Downtown is difficult in general? I'm trying to get it for my June trip but all booked up so far. Going to just keep an eye on it.

Honestly - since they introduced the app it seems to be a nightmare booking restaurants at DLP. I've been going since 2003 and we never had a problem previously.

Downtown is ridiculously popular though (OK it's good but not that good!)

If you are staying at Art of Marvel you might be able to book when you're there as they do hold some back for hotel guests.

Just booked Pym Kitchen for 30 April on the website (kept getting ‘oops’ message on the app). The website is much clearer to use.

There was availability for Downtown and Manhattan that week too (but no dates released after that week for me - I am offsite).

To be honest we will probably eat offsite or in the Village otherwise so no reservations needed.
