Tourist Tax - Disney asking for additional payment?

As Paris have doubled Tourist Tax this year (due to Olympics), I've read that people with bookings may be contacted by Disney to pay the extra. Has anyone else encountered this?
We booked via hotels.com, so don't know if they are doing the same.

To complicate our booking, we have two adults on the booking, but will add three AP holders on check in and just pay tourist tax for them.

We believe that TT for Davy Crocket is Ä2.60, so not a deal breaker, but other hotel's rates are higher. Disneyland Hotel is Ä10.73.

per person, per night. So, for example, 2 people for 2 nights would be 4x Tourist Tax.

Possibly depends when people booked. Some bookings may have taken into account the rise in Tourist Tax.

It all seems to be rumour at the moment anyway. Although Paris have definitely doubled Tourist Tax for all hotels for 2024, using the Olympics as an excuse.

I found this. I wonder what star the tiny room Iím staying in at the IBIS budget is classed as.

Best look into it I guess.

Is it paid when you book or when you leave the hotel?

My booking direct with Disney clearly states all taxes are included. If they try to claim money is owed because the tax has increased they wonít get a polite reply as the wording is clear. I would be very surprised if Disney do this but many other hotels/booking sites do not include the taxes

For offsite, we've either paid the tax when paying when booking, or at check in at the hotel (even when paying when booking).

The Facebook group for Disneyland Paris has people posting that they booked last year for this year and are being asked to pay the additional tax by phone in advance of going.
