Hi Dibbers!
I am about to book a relatively last minute trip to DLP for Me, Mrs McFluff, and our two children (16 and 13). We have visited before back in February 2017 and had a lovely time. We took the car and stayed at Davey Crocket Ranch. We will be staying there again for three nights and aiming to arrive at around 18:30 on Friday 29th March (I know...Easter Weekend!) We are not too bothered about which rides we get on, happy to queue and just decided that we need a bit of fun in the Disney bubble after a bereavement in the family. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions of where to eat? QS or TS. (can you just rock up or do you need a reservation at all the TS places?). What about strategy for getting on rides? What shows are worth seeing? Good snacks? We have done WDW a few times and know all the tricks there but we are a little out of practice when it comes to DLP. We know it'll be busy and that booking late means we might find getting a table in most of the TS venues difficult but we are happy to eat QS or at hotels instead of the parks if this'll make life easier. What are your best tips? |

We liked cafe Agrabah in Disneyland park - Middle Eastern buffet but you will need to book. Friends rated pym kitchen.

I think you’ll find TS bookings tricky but if you check the app you will see what’s available. Rainforest in the village is good, no booking required.
At this stage I would just plan to go with the flow, have a look on the app for your must do rides and maybe plan to pay for premier access if there is something high on your wish list. The app is great for ride times and helping to adapt on the day. Bring a power bank with you! |

Definitely make the most of EMH. We also find we achieve so much more in the evenings so generally take time in the day to wander around, take in the sights and sounds and then try and hit all the rides in the evenings!
PYMs kitchen is great for buffet food (and quite often you can get last minute reservations but you can also queue on the day). Quick serve we love Colonel Haiti's and Cowboy Cookout! |
