Off to DLP tomorrow!

Off tomorrow & I’ve checked in online for the SL & have just noticed my 4 tickets are in there too? Will I still need to go to the checkin desk or can I go straight to room? Do we still need proper tickets or is this them ready to use on the app?

You can use the app for park entry but will still need to go to reception to collect your physical magic passes as they are still required as your room key in that hotel. I think you can use the app to open your door in Hotel New York.

Thanks everyone back late last night after 4 lovely days in our beloved DLP. It was very busy but manageable, we did everything & more! We didn’t book restaurants this time (first time ever!) as there was 9 of us so we decided to eat on the go which worked well. We ate at Starbucks or McDs in the morning, we ate at cowboy cookout, earl of sandwich, vapiano, toad hall, &
Pizzeria Bella Notte & Casey’s. We planned our times well & beat the queues! The weather was amazing all 4 days & yesterday it got up to 19 degrees & I'm home with sunburn! I loved the new Pixar show so don’t miss it! I Watched the lion king & Mickey & the Magician shows again & they never disappoint! It was a fun experience to go with my sisters & their kids, but they aren’t really Disney fans like me & my daughter so a lot of it was lost on them, but they loved it & they were so glad I was with them as they wouldn’t of got so much done or knew about shows. The new drone show is amazing too, couldn't believe they were using the same music as they used to use for the main street electrical parade in the 90s/early 2000s so that was a pleasant surprise! We had a fab spot for the parade & fireworks & got there about 40 mins before they started to get a good view.
There’s a lot of work going on but it didn’t affect anything at all so I won’t be back until it’s all finished, hopefully the end of 2025! We love DLP & will not let anyone say a bad word about it! ❤️

It wasn’t summer time busy but busy enough. I think it was spring break in certain French zones & of course there was a lot of Irish people there like myself as we had our St Patrick’s day holiday so kids had 2/3 days off. The extra hour in the morning really helped with rides like dumbo & Peter Pan. Sometimes BTM was 60 mins but then sometimes 30 mins. My daughter nieces & nephews still was able to ride space mountain 7 times & we all did BTM 4 times. Crush’s coaster was shut so made the wait times longer for other rides in the Studios, but we got all done in there including shows by 4pm. So it definitely was manageable. Our queuing limit is 40 mins I refuse to queue for longer! We only watched the fireworks once so BTM was a walk on when that was on!
