Tbh they are very very different and that's why its hard. I preferred Pym's and liked the novelty aspect of it and the theming - especially with our kids. My partner though favoured Downtown - which I think has better food- so its all in what you are looking for really

I think both are similar. I would say downtown if you are picking just one as it is harder to get in so if you have the chance to get a table, get it! Just for the general experience as opposed to comparing the food as they are both good buffets. Downtown has a few more dishes on offer.

Saying that, I love PYM kitchen too! Either is a winner.

I enjoyed both.

I'd take Pym over Downtown purely based on location and not needing to leave the park.

If I had no plans to return to the parks, then Downtown.

ETA - we had better service in Downtown (party of 9) probably because it's smaller. Pym's (party of 6) was rammed once we'd been brought our drinks in Pym's we never saw the server again. I asked another server if we could order more drinks, they said they'd get our server to come over, no-one came and we never got the pretzel for the table and again when asking staff we were brushed off.
