Went into the cinema and it was dark cloudy skies, came out to blue skies and sunshine! Sat around the pool reading now. Fingers crossed that's the last of Colin.

Glad everyone's okay over there. A few years ago we were there when tropical storm Beryl hit and, yeah, it was pretty damp for a week or two.

Tropical Storms hit Florida every year around this time so it's not like they are an unusual occurrence. Still, it's not great to be there when one is in the area.

My parents visited Florida when hurricane Floyd hit (well, it actually missed Florida in the end). All the parks were closed - one of the few times Disney has closed - and people were boarding up buildings. My parents said the weather was no worse than a typical wet and windy day in the UK.

Yeah, he didnt make it to land. Its just the aftermath now, occasional bad weather. Yesterday was glorious, but today is a bit rainy. Nothing compared to the other night thougb, i thought our pool was going to overflow with the amount it was raining!
