2020 questions
Hi,
Car hire prices aren’t out yet for Sept/Oct 2020 but am I ok to look at 2019 prices to get a rough idea or does the price vary year on year? We’re going to need two cars too as my parents will be joining us for two weeks at the end of our first week (we’ll all leave together). Would it be easier to book two car separately given that the dates will vary on both cars or can we book them together? I have a feeling booking them together could cause potential confusion but was wondering if we booked two cars would we be able to save money or receive some form of discount? I’ve not hired a car in Florida for over 8 years so just trying to sort out what will be the best way to go about it. Thanks.

I have never heard of a discount for getting two cars but that's not to say there could be.
Personally I would want separate reference numbers clearly showing two distinct rentals thus no confusion.

My thoughts exactly, thanks. Any idea on using 2019 prices as a rough guide, will the prices in 2020 change drastically?

Mmm. Difficult to say.
I have 3 or 4 rentals per annum. All the same duration and I have the prices going back at least 5 years. So for a 4 week Aug/Sept rental 2016 £781 - Luxury 2017 £692 - Premium 2018 £719 - SUV 2019 £774 - SUV So although the vehicle has changed it's not hugely different. Edit. That £774 price I reckon I will get it down to circa £720 before we get it. The most number of times I have cancelled and rebooked is 6.
