Shopping in Miami?

We will be in Miami for the final 2 nights of our holiday.

I have heard Sawgrass Mills is great but we won't have a car and are staying at Miami Beach so it's a little far out.

Any other recommendations?

Sawgrass Mall is huge but nowhere near Miami beach - the Lincoln Rd Mall is your nearest and has some lovely stores

Sawgrass Mills is 40 miles from Miami Beach.

Bal Harbor Mall is a luxury shopping center at the top end of Collins, about 8 miles from Miami Beach might be worth a visit.

Aventura Mall (the third biggest regular mall in America) is at North Miami Beach - about 20 minutes by public bus from South Beach, and the buses take you right to the doors. It has everything you need there. However, Sawgrass Mills, an hour away, is cheaper because it is all outlets. It is vast, and you will need to allocate a full day there. Sawgrass run shuttle buses from all along Miami Beach. If you are staying in a hotel, you can get picked up there.

Thanks everyone. How does Sawgrass Mills compare with the prices in Orlando outlets? Not sure whether to hold of doing any major shopping in Orlando and hit Sawgrass instead (if we have any $$'s left, that is! )
