Online shopping to hotel

If we do some online shopping while we're away, is it okay to get it delivered to the hotel? We're staying at the Yacht Club.

Do we just need to put our names and room number? Do they deliver it to your room or do you need to pick up from reception?

I usually make sure I have parcels sent to the lead name on the booking and add "Hold for guest (and the arrival date if it might get there before you). Disney recommend you don't put a reservation/room number on for security reasons.

Are you aware however that as the Yacht Club has a convention centre all parcels go through them and you're charged a handling fee? It's based on weight with packages under 5 lbs being $3, 5 - 20 lbs $5 and over 20 lbs $10. You usually have to collect from the convention centre.

we were at cbr and ordered some SoA teeshirts.

Arrived and were delivered to the room.

we just put our names and room number and resort address - no problems at all.

We ordered off Amazon.com last year when in NY to be delivered to our next hotel. I then phoned ahead to reception who noted it. We then collected a day or so after our arrival.
