Liverpool to Heathrow ..

Hi Guys ..have a friend visiting from Canada and running in the rock n roll half marathon weekend in Liverpool. Needs to be at Heathrow before 17.00 and hopes to leave Liverpool around midday..it's the bank holiday at the end of May..what is the fastest way to do this?

Can she get a flight? I wouldn't want to risk road or train in that time frame.

I think she needs to set off a lot sooner then to be safe. I am not saying it is impossible, but having done similar journeys many times, our road and rail networks simply do not run as smoothly as they should.

I gather this is on Saturday 25th May? If so its just over 4 hours by train and about �93 for a single. They would have to leave Liverpool Lime Street at 1219 and with 3 changes arrive at Heathrow at 16:24. Trains leaving later will arrive at Heathrow after 1700.
