Im so sorry for your loss, i too, lost my dad last last month, also 72, i still feel in a state of shock and disbelief, i too was a daddys girls, my dad was a massive part of our lives, and im so so sad that he has gone x someone said to me emotional comes in waves, and this is so true, try to go with it, i miss my dad so much xx

my Dad died suddenly and expectedly in January. He was only 75. We had to have an inquest too and I’ve been exactly where you are now... please pm me if you need to. No question is too silly and I’m here if you need me x

Firstly, I am sorry for your loss.
My dear Dad passed away exactly a year ago today and as my only Sister passed away 3 years ago, it has been all down to me to help Mum.
Mum has kept going despite losing her Husband 5 months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. Her bad day is always Sunday’s, but they have got easier with time.
Everybody deals with grief differently, but it does get easier with the passage of time.
Stay strong, try to smile and remember all those fond memories your Dad gave you 🙏
