Simple divorce...gov.uk

Has anyone applied for a divorce themselves through gov.uk ? Was it a simple process. There should be no issues as it is an amicable separation, the only reason we haven't done it before is the cost.

We have been separated since 2015 and looking like its probably easier to divorce than prove separation on a grant application for my daughter.

Just a thought will getting divorced affect my esta? not planning on changing my name?

Thank you

I have a friend that did this. It was an amicable separation and in their case no children, also reducing complications. She had no issues at all and they saved themselves silly legal fees.

I think divorced people are allowed ESTAs.

I divorced a number of years ago and yes for us it was straight forward.. but we didn’t have any children.
And we saved a fortune!
