I'd support this too! The trouble with the 'non-Florida' forum is that the California bits get lost within all the UK/European holiday bits.
Pretty please can we get a special forum for West Coast hols...

I agree it can be difficult to pick through it all can't it ? I know it could be alot of work for the admin but hopefully it would be mutually beneficial.

Oooh yes that's a great idea, says someone hoping to do California again next year!
I think it would be great, especially if the forum could have a Disneyland sticky, and then a section for each main area ie LA/Hollywood, San Francisco, etc etc Carys - I would PM admin, as they might not see this thread. Good Luck!

Hi,
We could probably create a Disneyland California forum like the DLP forum if there is enough call for it. We wouldn't want to do a general west coast forum otherwise we may aswell have forums for every part of the world and that isn't what this site is about.

Another vote for a west coast forum as we are going there again this year. The more info the better i say.

I do have a certain sympathy with this thought process. If you keep sub sectioning websites, it can dilute the amount of input, simply because people aren't even looking in that forum.
I think a potential answer may be to have a 'West Coast Sticky' as with the 'Las Vegas' one we have already. This has proved tremendously successful, and I see no reason why a similar thing for the West Coast wouldn't work? I'd put my name forward to compile that one too, but it would take some initial output from others around places I've never visited, or haven't for a long time? If people are happy with this, and are prepared to contribute, then just express that opinion on here. If you're against it, say so too - either because you think a sticky isn't as good as a new forum, or because someone else should 'collate the info'? I'm happy, either way. Maybe, if the sticky idea was adopted, we could ask Admin to change the forum 'headline' to say "Includes West Coast & Las Vegas Stickies"?

Might I suggest that Disneyland should have it's own forum, it is Disney after all!
The difference between Disneyland and WDW is most people don't just go to Disneyland, they visit other parts of California as well, so how about a forum for 'Disneyland California' with a sticky for Disneyland Info such as park info etc, then another sticky for each area ie LA and Hollywood/San Diego/San Francisco/Vegas etc. That's just my personal suggestion, but it would be great to see a Forum for Disneyland California on the DIBB.
