I have not used the GAC personally, but I understand it works much a similar way as the WDW one does, except it may not cover everyone in your party. They put a maximum number of people that can accompany the person with the GAC depending on the ride. In the case of say, the Cars ride in the Studios, it is 1 plus 3 because each individual car takes 4 people. One the card itself it will tell you how many people per ride can be included. You only need to have one GAC to cover both parks (whereas before you had to have one for each park). I'm sure another DIBBer will be along with more recent experience!
