Or maybe we just had two tour guides with a slightly different take on things What will be will be, but as OP says the Frontierland area between Cowboy Cookout and the Frontierland Station is in much more need of attention, that the areas around Hathis and Indiana Jones, which are at least well landscaped.

Videopolis was setting up for 'something' when we were leaving, the stage was getting all sorts of rigging and stage 'stuff' adding. I didnt ask anyone what it was for though.

They have occasional bands/choir concerts in there now. But wish they'd bring back a decent show. On a good note, one thing that had been bugging me for years was the fake soil in the wall planters inside, last trip I noticed they had finally abandoned the idea of ever putting plants back in (assume they had been plastic anyway as too dark for any real plants) and now they have put a proper clean surface in its place. The kids always used to mess with the dirt/gravel in there.

We have just got back today from DLP and I must agree that Disney desperately need to get their act together with regards the condition of the park lots of paintwork needs rectification, huge sections of the small bulbs on the outside of Small World were out.Don't get me wrong we had a great time there and are now Annual pass holders CM's were excellent always going that little bit extra to make your trip special but Disney need to pull there socks up on
the maintenence of the parks which IMHO is seriously overdue.

I love dlrp and am taking my little boy for his 5th visit (he is 6 ) in October, it will be my 11th,but I have to agree with others I think cafe Hyperion, the old captain eo are and the bit around the chaperal theatre all need serious attention and something doing to it... I know they spent a lot on dreams and also they have built new stuff in studios but I do think they need a big new feature / ride in the old park.

Having said that it doesn't put me off going either... although after this year we aren't going next as we are saving for Florida in 2015!

There are plans for that area - Pizza Planet to become Star Wars Cantina, Captain Eo to be indoor Jedi training, and of course Star Tours to be upgraded.

Won't be for a couple of years though, Ratatouille is the priority now.

Videopolis makes them too much money to change, for some reason it is the most profitable CS in the park! But they do host some small shows. We saw 'The Jingle Bell Boys' in January.
