idea: split dining & restaurants into ADR/disney related and "others"
the threads for non-disney restaurants tend to get lost amongst all of the ADR and onsite related threads meaning that a lot of questions are repeated because there doesnt seem to be anything current in the first few pages of threads
any chances of it being split out, so that offsite restaurants have a subforum or something, leaving the disney stuff in the main forum? i really think it will improve things in there... |

This is a great idea. Same with food/trip reports. I only really like to read the offsite ones but have to trawl through lots to find them .

pretty please? all the ADR talk in that forum makes it really hard to navigate for those of us who dont spend most of our time on park property! |

so no chance of this happening then? i think it would really help with thread churn and people asking the same questions over and over (about non-disney places).. the hidden gems get lost in amongst the myriad of posts asking about ADRs |

I'd love that!
We don't really eat onsite at all, finding ideas, reviews and rough prices on here for offsite was really difficult though X

I'm not sure - you can split things down too far. Would you have a separate section for Universal too?
I always find loads of "non Disney" threads in food. I agree some of the ADR threads are annoying but I just don't read those.

universal is tiny, doesnt warrant its own section, it can go in with all the others
i think its more about being able to easily find non-disney threads... for those of us who come here looking specifically for non-disney restaurants, it gets a bit boring wading through 3 pages of people chatting about BoG, meaning the threads get lost a lot quicker too |

Maybe a park dining and and and off park dining section would be better to encompass all parks ?
The main problems tend to stem from Disney because of the free dining plan. Before that, more people were heading or staying offsite, so none park dining was much easier to find X |
