What evidence do I need for my autistic son?

You could call dla too, just ask them for proof of entitlement, I am sure ours came pretty fast.

Thanks, but I always bring that every yr we go & it works fine My son's condition is noticeable too so maybe thats why it works x

We got a disability access card for my son who is autistic in Florida last month. We just took a letter from the GP explaining he is autistic and would struggle with queues etc. They were very helpful.
Although I don't know what they would require in paris.

That is all they need. Every time I go that's all I have is a letter from my dr as I have sciatica and can't stand for any length of time.

Hi we've just got back ...we took a letter from the Gp and his DLA letter and had no problems. ..just be aware that some rides Pirates of the carribean, small world and Buzz get really busy so they may need to give you a return time and pirates only have an allotted amount of Autistic slots ..there is a lot but iff you go at the end of the day they may have gone ..unfortunately we found that out and ended up with Ds having a huge meltdown as he couldn't go on that day ..it does go quiet anyway later on so you may be able to use the main entrance to it ..Ratatouille ride is another one we had problems with as the disability entrance is mixed with the fastpass entrance so the queue can look enormous as people have turned up for their slot to early so they hang around ...just show your green card and they'll let you through no problem ...its a fab ride by the way a must ! ...feel free to ask away we were only there last week xx

I think i'll bring DS DLA letter too to be on the safe side, what part of the letter do you bring?

Hi ..I just took the front part of the letter that has the heading on and says which award you've got ...they didn't read it fully I think they can see from the heading of the letter what it was ..xx
