Although not Hertz, this year in Toronto we got a deal on a vehicle through Holiday Autos with Avis which was around 50% of the price with Avis. Fully expecting some form of "extras" to be added when we picked it up, but no - just signed the paperwork and off we went.

However, I would read the contract/TS and CS very carefully just to check that, as mentioned above, you have not been given a price for a US Driver whose own car insurance does cover rental vehicles, or any other charges that are normally included in car rental proces.

We've just booked a Tahoe for 15 days, end of July as well, pickup in San Francisco and drop off Las Vegas for $337, booked using our AA membership so extra driver included. I did phone to check there was no one way fee and she said if it doesn't show up (as included or non included rates) there is no fee. All insurances required are included. Very happy with the price and hubby will be pleased with another Tahoe.

Has anyone got a link as I said it wouldn't let me book but also said there was a one-way fee on top of the higher price

Just booked a Yukon XL Fran from San Francisco to Las Vegas over 18 days in August with no one way Fee. Looked at the Tahoe, but this was only £10 more.

These deals are to allow Hertz to get vehicles re-distributed, so will be very dependent on dates and locations as to whether you will get offered the cheap rate and no one way fee. Lots end up in San Francisco as its a natural leaving point for many having done the California road trip.

Edited at 08:10 PM.

I assume if there is a one way fee it will show on the booking?

Ive booked a SUV from SFO droping off at LAX, no one way fee was showing, should I be worried?
