I called and asked and was told there was no one way fee showing as applicable on their system. Have also emailed my booking ref to get them to confirm in writing.

I tried some quotes from Hertz a few days ago after seeing this thread - was very expensive compared to others so looks like OP has got a great deal.

I ended up booking with Avis through BA again - Ford Edge - £329 for 13 days rental.

It really is going to depend on whether they are trying to redistribute cars via one way rentals. You are unlikely to get this price for either a same place drop off, or a car they normally have plenty of.

Ford Edge class cars were double the rate of the Large SUV class for the same dates we got the good deal on. Normally I would go with a mid sized SUV, but may as well have the larger one for the same price as the economy isn't that much different.

Just changed my booking from Tahoe to Yukon XL as the offer is still on, around £265 for 15 days

Just had a response from Hertz and as others have said, all CDW is included, and there is no one way charge.

Probably still worth others checking, so you have it in writing, but they are being consistent.

I've sent my booking reference to them just to get double conformation of the on drop fee and it also says on my booking that the one way drop has been acknowledged and if a fee is to be paid it will show on the booking... which it doesn't. So hopefully all is ok. I'll will post again when they reply.

Yes mine has got a one way fee and it is listed separately at the bottom and states only payable on location, not in advance.
