Carolynne... I have just booked the Yukon XL also. Although may be a little big for just the 2 of us and our 3/4 cases :S

Anyhow... worked out approx. GB£ 290 for 16 days.

Looks like we're talking on two threads, lol. There's four of us, we've had a Tahoe before and loved it, but for an extra £20 I thought the Yukon was a great price. The only place I'm a bit worried about using it is in San Faprancisco with our hotels underground parking, might be a bit tight, hubbys job to park it

Same here with San fran. Will be my responsibility to park it! Hope I am alright getting down Lombard Street in it too :S

Anyway, I have just cancelled my reservation and booked it again without the personal insurance as this is duplicated within my own travel insurance as mentioned on the previous thread.

Anyway... works out at GB£ 210 now for the 16 days.

Just to confirm about the no one way drop fee and free extra driver here is my reply from Hertz;

Response Via Email(Anko Bardot) - 06/01/2016 10.53
We would like to inform there is no one-way fee between California and Nevada and the second driver will be added by the local staff .This is free of charge .
We remain at your service and thank you for contacting Hertz.
Yours sincerely
Hertz Internet Helpdesk

Hope this helps.
