Aldi - worth the trip?

I usually do an initial 1st day shop at Walmart. Now, I often use aldi here but never thought to use over there as thought Walmart was pretty cheap. Is it worth the trip to stock up on food and drink etc for the villa as its slightly further out?

I've been thinking the same myself. I've just gone to the ALDI us website and used the villa zip code to get the local advert leaflets (similar to the uk ones) and the prices look pretty good. Have a nose and let me know what you think.

There's an Aldi just past the Walmart at Southerndunes on the opposite side of the road so not far from Sunset Ridge at all

We visited Aldi 2 weeks ago. But wouldn't do it again. It does seem more expensive in the states than here most products are American too. We really liked Publicx over there. Walmart was just too big xx

For the short amount of time most of us are over there on holiday I doubt whether the savings, if any, would be worthwhile if you include your time and extra fuel costs into the equation.

I was about to say the same: your holiday time is valuable and has cost you a fair bit, so use it wisely.

You can do a virtual tour in store so have a look and see if they stock the items you want at the price you are happy to pay

Thanks - not much further than Walmart I guess and we are in Villa for just over 3 weeks so maybe worth going to stock up on essentials. (on the plus side... it will be a quicker shop than walmart, )
