Defo this time of year, purely just as the parks are open later so you don't need to rush to get things done for closing. Love Spring too, & going back next April (Easter)for a big family & the 25th celebrations, but if my SIL wasn't a teacher I defo would have gone in summer.
Didn't bother with the photo pass, we were going to get it but there was very few photographers about, even some character meets didn't have them.

Looks like you had a great time. Can you tell me what time you queued etc for the Jedi training and what the procedure is? We go in October and my son would love this. We are wondering whether to queue for it our first day in EMH (but wouldn't want to spend the whole time queueing) but are also planning BBWS so couldn't make the last jedi training show.

We arrived on our 1st day at just after 9.30 am & the line was closed already. DD was very annoyed as this was top ofthe list to do. We were told people had been there for 8am & they advised us to do the same the next day.
So we got there for 8 & I was top of the queue! I queued & hubby & kids went off & did some rides & character meets. This was allowed as the CM were telling us all to do it. So yes! I queued for 2.5 hours hubby took over for an hour, the line closed about 9.30 again but knowing my luck if I had arrived then it would of closed earlier!
At 10.30 they move the line down near the doors of videopolis, then at 10.45 on the button they open the doors, there are 3 booking tables for the different show times, we went for the 1pm show as we wanted to go into the studios park after having been in the Disneyland park for the full day before.
They give you a time to come back, our time was 12.25 & that is for rehearsal & costume!
They only allow one adult in at this time, so tell the rest of the family to go in & get seats, we had seats right at the front was was brilliant!
It really is a fantastic show & DD is so happy that she could take part! They give the child a certificate afterwards which is nice.
My DS did it years ago in WDW but it was slightly different there.

Wow, sounds like you had an amazing time! Kind of glad my DS is a little young for Star Wars though, that sounds like lots of queuing! (Albeit very organized queuing!)

It was weird cos the parks weren't busy at all, but yet we queued for this! It's very popular & so is the frozen singalong!
