Thabks for the input everyone! Dobby was my first suggestion too.
We're now on Ziggy, Benji, Reggie and Buddy but still very undecided! He's a miniature silver dappled dachshund. We went to visit him today and he's beautiful!

Our daughter keeps asking us for a Daschund.
Currently got two Labs, one of which is called Buddy, so at the moment another dog is not on the cards. But should we ever get one she has already chosen his name, Spencer.

Aw so cute - I always wanted a dachshund called Pepe (like the shrimp from the muppets - he had strange eyes too). From your list I like Reggie.

Mil’s last dog was Spider, current one is Hector (both seem to suit them really well). Have friends with a George and an Eric (has to be about the coolest name for a dog ever) Growing up I had a dog called Bess.
