$ to the £

Do you think the $ will go back up to $2 - £1? We are not going until September and will need to change some more money, but not sure weather to just leave it in the bank and wait or get it now?

Hi

It should do. You just have to keep a watch on it... Are you going to get FairFX card? They usually have the best rates.

We got ours a few weeks ago when it was 2$. I'll put more on it when it goes up again.

Personaly I think its been the best already and wont go back to that, But. If hits the fan again in the USA then YES it will go back that direction. I think the USA has got its finger out and started to sort itself out, and with us possibly heading for an R word, I dont think it will.

You will always get a better rate if you use those companies that you can choose date of getting your currency, for one they are getting interest on you money and 2, they sort of betting on the exchange rate going up.

I think it may peak up there again at some point, but I personally think it will start dropping now. But what do I know

Mind, whatever it does it will be better than the $1.30 we used to get

I dont think it will go up to $2 again before September. The deal we're getting now is pretty good to be honest as like other dibbers I remember when it was 1.3/1.40 to the pound and thats comfortably less than 10 years ago.
